The Mothers of Multiples of Lower Fairfield County has announced their Spring Kids' Stuff Tag Sale. This is an awesome tag sale folks. I'm serious. This tag sale beats up other tag sales...and takes their lunch money. I'm almost hesitant to post about it because I'm scared to invite more competition. Spring/summer clothes, books, toys, shoes, equipment, and maternity stuff for sale.
Here's the low down...
Saturday, March 28th, 2009. 11am - 2pm. The deal crazy people (like myself) start to line up at 10am.
-Cash only
-Don't bring kids in strollers (in fact, if you can avoid bringing kids altogether I'd suggest it. It gets crazy in there.)

NMS Concert
The third concert of Neighborhood Music School's Children's Concert Series - The GUITAR GUY - is FRIDAY, MARCH 6!
The GUITAR GUY plays original folk rock for kids with plenty of humor and an infectious beat! You can learn more about him and sample his award-winning music at www.cdbaby.com (search "Robert the Guitar Guy").
NOTE: The GUITAR GUY is Robert Markowitz, based in Wilton, CT. He is not Robert Messore, who plays at St. John's Church in New Haven.

In this story, kind Blanche, following the instructions of an old woman, gains riches, while her greedy sister makes fun of the old woman and is duly rewarded. Fun and laughter for all ages!

The Giver by Lois Lowry was the winner of the 1994 Newbery Medal, Lois Lowrys novel The Giver centers on 12-year-old Jonas who lives in a seemingly ideal world with no poverty, no crime, no sickness, no unemployment, and where every family is happy. Not until he is given his life assignment as the Receiver of Memories does he begin to understand the dark secrets behind this fragile community.
Ongoing:
A. Stay and Play Storytime. Tuesdays and Thursdays. At 11am. For infants/toddlers (ages 0-3 years) with caregiver. Music, rhyme, puppets, books, and playtime.
B. Chess Club, instruction and play ages 6-16. Mondays at 4:00pm.
C. Family Fun, Saturdays at 11:00a.m. Join us for stories, fingerplays and crafts! For Children ages 1-6 years and their families.
