What's Going On This Weekend?

Holy stuff to do this weekend, Batman! Why is it that there is always a ton to do when the kids are back in school?

September 9-13 – Hebron
Hebron Harvest Fair, Hebron Lion's Fairgrounds, 347 Gilead St. (Rte. 85). Major agricultural fair with livestock shows, midway, exhibits, continuous stage entertainment, magic show, small animal barns, arts and crafts, food and product booths. September 10-13 – North Haven
North Haven Fair. North Haven Fairground, Rte 5, 300 Washington Ave. Large agricultural fair featuring animal and agricultural exhibits, entertainment, vendors, rides and food. September 11-13 – East Norwalk
Norwalk Oyster Festival, Veteran's Memorial Park. Waterfront festival celebrates Long Island Sound's seafaring past. Events include live entertainment, arts and crafts, vintage vessels, demonstrations, juried crafters, international food court, exhibits, Kid's Cove. Admission: Adults $12, children (under 12) $3. September 11-13 - New Haven
Connecticut Folk Festival & Green Expo. Southern Connecticut State University, Crescent St.

September 12 - Old Lyme

Big Wheels at Brodie. Brodie Park 550 West Hill Road Children will have the opportunity to explore vehicles with BIG WHEELS. They can also build items such as trucks, toolboxes and birdhouses at The Home Depot Builder’s Workshop. 11:00 AM, $5.00 child, adults free,

September 13 – Hamden

Bring the grandparents to Stepping Stones museum on Sunday for Grandparents Day! (They'll get in for free.) Stick around to see The Jimmies perform at 5:00pm.
