July 4- New Haven

Celebrated Independence Day at Long Wharf Park with friends, family, food, music and fireworks. Fireworks display after dusk. Free. Rain date: Sunday, July 5.

July 4 - Madison
30th Independence Day Parade. Downtown Madison – Boston Post Road. 30th Annual Madison 4th of July parade promises to be a great event with a special focus on “Health and Wellness, Let’s Get Fit”. The parade begins at 11 am and winds its way from the Stop and Shop parking lot, through the center of downtown Madison and into the Surf Club. The parade features approximately 100 community groups, floats, bands, clowns, antique cars, trucks, bicycles and a number of professional performance groups. July 4- Darien
10:30 AM to 1:00 PM Goodwives Shopping Center, 25 Old Kings Highway
The fifth annual YWCA Push-n-Pull Parade will take place on Saturday. The patriotic parade steps off from Goodwives Shopping Center in Darien at 10:30 a.m. sharp, where Mary Ann Hall’s Music for Children will entertain the waiting crowd starting at 10:00a.m. Decorate yourself and your non-motorized vehicle, and parade down the Post Road to Tilley Pond Park. Join us in the park for live music by Alex and the Kaleidoscope Band, food and ice cream vendors, and a craft fair. Don’t miss this great free event, which will again kick off Darien’s Independence Day celebrations. Donations will be gratefully accepted in the park and will benefit the many community service programs of the YWCA.
The parade route proceeds up Brookside Road to take a left on the Post Road through downtown, and then takes a right onto West Ave to enter Tilley Pond Park opposite the railroad station.

July 4- East Woodstock
11:00 AM, East Woodstock Congreational Church, 220 Woodstock Road.
The Fourth of July Jamboree has been held on East Woodstock Common since July 4, 1957. It is a celebration of our independence featuring a chicken barbeque at 11:30am, and a parade at 2pm.
The Jamboree is a much anticipated event every year. This old-fashioned celebration reminds us of a simpler time. So come with us and step back in time as we celebrate the brave people who have gone before us.
The public is invited to come and enjoy live entertainment, children's games, contests, food, and much more. The Jamboree is a major fundraiser for the church; all the money raised supports our programs of Christian education, music, and community outreach.

Have a blast this July 4th at Quassy. Special "3-D" fireworks presentation after dark to benefit Prevent Blindness Tri-State. Viewing glasses will be sold for $1. Parking $7 on July 4th.

July 4- Milford
4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Westfield Connecticut Post, 1201 Boston Post Road, Milford, CT
Live concert featuring The Landsharks, a Jimmy Buffet tribute band that has played with Jimmy Buffet and is the only cover band endorsed to play at Buffet’s Margaritaville at Universal Studios Performance by new Pop sensations Nick Larson and the up-and-coming duo - Chelsea and Cameron; Choreographed Fireworks Display; Safety activities with the Milford Police Department including equipment displays, canine demonstrations and car seat safety inspections, 4pm to 7pm; Participation from military branches with equipment displays and interactive activities; A VIP tent with premium seating and a gourmet barbeque. Tickets available at the Westfield Concierge Center or through the Milford Chamber of Commerce - $25 for adults and $10 for kids under 10 years. Official veterans recognition ceremony presented by James L. Richetelli Jr, Mayor, City of Milford, which will include participation by the US Navy Sailing Squadron which is visiting Milford with their sailing vessels for the July 4th weekend. July 4- Norwalk
6:00 PM, Bayley Beach, 11 Pine Point Road, Norwalk, CT
Rowayton Fireworks will light up the sky offshore from Bayley Beach Saturday evening, July 4th; rain date is Sunday, July 5. The fireworks, sponsored by the RCA, will be launched from a barge beginning at 9:15pm. The performance will last approximately 30 minutes. Musical entertainment begins at Bayley at 6:00pm until dark. For more info, click here.

Enjoy a spectacular fireworks display and family entertainment. Fireworks begin at 9:30 pm. Events include: 5K Road Race, Family Picnic and Fireworks. Picnic set up till 3 p.m. The gates for the fireworks close at 8:45 p.m. Charge $20. Passes may be purchased at the Parks & Rec office Washington Town Hall, Mon., Wed. & Thurs. 9 a.m. to noon, or Washington Market Fri., Sat. & Sun. 10-2 pm. (Rain date: July 5th)
