July 31 – Aug 2 - Wallingford
Great Connecticut Traditional Jazz Fest at Mountain Ridge, 350A High Hill Rd.
Features live popular music from early America, including New Orleans-style jazz, swing and big band sounds. Weekend outing for the entire family with swimming pool, outdoor activities and continuous live jazz in four venues. Admission. www.greatctjazz.org (800) 468-3836

August 1 - Norwalk
Stepping Stones Museum has two great events happening this Saturday.
11:00am Meet Author and Creator of Biscuit!Join local author Alyssa Satin Capucilli as she reads from her collection of Biscuit books. Children will be able to meet both Biscuit and his creator during this special presentation.
2:30pm Creative Kids Art. Be inspired by Africa by creating a wild animal collage framed with colorful stamp designs. Feel the texture of the animal prints paper and see the patterns around the frame!

August 3 – North Haven
Tom Sieling - Howl at the Moon. Picnic and Performance on the library lawn. North Haven Library, 17 Elm Street. Tom Sieling, widely acclaimed singer and songwriter will perform a participatory family program consisting of humorous songs about our world. Free family programs sponsored by the Friends of the North Haven Library. In case of inclement weather, the programs will be held in the Community Room (in which case space is limited and admission is first come-first served). 7:00p.m. (203) 239-5803
