What's Going On This Weekend?

We're back from maternity leave! We're a New Haven family of four! And here's what's going on this weekend!

April 1-4 - Norwalk
NanoDays. Stepping Stones Museum for Children, Mathews Park, 303 West Avenue. Daily activities in nanoscale science and engineering. Check website for daily schedule. April 2 - Mystic
Wild Egg Hunt. Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, 109 Pequotsepos Rd. Animals have many unique ways to camouflage their eggs. Come see if the Nature Center staff is as good as they hide over 1,000 eggs on the trails. Children must be accompanied by an adult and bring a basket. 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Admission: $7. April 3 - Brooklyn
Easter Egg Hunt at Creamery Brook Bison, 19 Purvis Rd. Take a wagon ride to see the bison, and then have fun looking for the Easter egg hunt and games. 1 pm $9.50. (860) 779-0837 www.creamerybrookbison.net

April 3 – New Haven
"The Happy Prince" Long Wharf Theatre, 222 Sargent Dr. One of Oscar Wilde's best-loved fairy tales. It tells the story of a magnificent golden statue who, with the help of a kind young swallow, spreads goodwill throughout his kingdom. But as winter approaches, the swallow must decide whether to join his flock in Egypt or to risk his life by staying behind to help his new friend. A sense of theatrical magic and wonder abounds in this tale about charity, friendship, and hope, told with Wilde's trademark grace and wit. Admission is free, reservations suggested.
